good place near north beach hotel. great coffee...
Great good price hard to get to
Food was so yummy. The staff was sociable and attentive.
Huge advantage of this place is that it's 27/7. You can just come by at any time and have some coffee with sweets. And I think they have wi-fi too. BUT ❗Be careful, since they always open there tend to be lots of homeless people hanging around and inside of the place too! So it's not very clean.
Cool place. Donuts were fine. Nothing special.
Fantastic shop. Great coffee, better donuts
Don't know what the hype is about. Dry donuts. Not clean, even for the area and overall lousy atmosphere.
Best place for pastries, donuts, bagels, and coffee around the clock! Their raspberry jelly filled donuts are truly the best in town! Very generous filling.
Go to spot for good doughnuts and coffee
good place to hang and eat some good food. nothing but great experiences here. this place has a cool feel to it.
Best damn doughnuts ever! Light and fluffy... like eating a yummy sugary cloud. I'll never be satisfied with any other doughnuts again, my life is over.
i had a brother come into town and asked me to take him back here. the prices are fair for the quality of food. feels like a place in charlotte that i enjoyed visiting.
This is Happy Doughnut. I love the doughnuts, but the sandwiches are the real stars here. Unforgettable flavors and a Fidi/Chinatown/N Beach staple.
The only place opening 24/7 fresh all the time okay thank you
Really good French Cruellers. Excellent flaky crust. Awesome prices. A little dive-y but really pleasant surprise.
Let's just say I had one bite of my chocolate donut and then tossed it out. The donut was dry and the chocolate was waxy. If you want an edible donut, go somewhere else.
My donut sucked, but the staff was friendly and the place clean.i would return for the ambiance not the food.
Nice selection of doughnuts. Reasonably priced place. No frills location in the heart of SF.
Went there in August 2015 three mornings in a raw with my family. Good breakfasts with very good prices for SF ! Bacon, eggs, coffee, fresh juices, pancakes they have everything to start a good day !
Amazing 24 hour cafe, donuts and bagels where you can chill drink coffee and hang around when you really need one, also they have breakfast and lunch though those are on morning to afternoon hours.Seriously amazing place to check out.
I had an egg, cheese and Turkey on roasted wheat sandwich. While it was a bit more money than I think it should cost, it is an excellent breakfast sandwich. And the coffee is good too. If you are in San Francisco, look it up. I do recommend it.
Quick and affordable breakfast during my stay in San Fransisco Downtown. Close to HotelNorth Beach.
Nice local donut shop.Breakfast sandwiches are pretty good, if a bit pricey.
Good donuts, fresh squeezed orange juice. Mmmm, good! Staff is always friendly. I love this place.
Great selection and always open late!
My favorite place to go when I was single. When i would go out at night to listen to live bands and then I'd have a cup of coffee and a donut before heading home.
Excellent! Normally a busy place and so it should be
Good food but overpriced and rude staff. Place could be cleaned up as well.
The thing I love about it is that it's open round the clock. So getting post nite out donuts is easy. And those donuts are solid. Along with the pensioners looking to strike it rich at the lottery there are sometimes european coeds or off duty strippers so there's always interesting characters there.
Clean, friendly, better than most breakfast places, delivered hot and fast. Management and waitress service all good.
Great donuts! Got the second best apple fritter I have ever had here.
do yourself a favor and give this place a try. looking forward to coming back with my coworkers. it has a great interior.
This place make good stuffs it's 24 /7 and have tables but it's kind of gross that they allow homeless to sleep there you can't sit for more than a minute...other than that everything is good...
Good donuts, definitely not great donuts. Donuts here are on the pricey side. Got a bakers dozen for $14, so a little bit over a buck apiece. Open 24 hours which is worth 2 stars all by itself considering how many businesses are NOT open 24 hours in SF. Donuts and pastries taste good which is the bottom line. They serve Peerless Coffee which is a bit weak for my taste, but is a decent cup of coffee. Great place for super late night snack fix, I recommend this business
Great breakfast options, donuts, croissants, danish, made to order breakfast, fresh fruit and bagels. Prices reasonable for San Francisco. A place where many locals eat. Good coffee. They also have the best carrot cake and make deli sandwiches.Staff are friendly and helpful.
Best fritter I’ve ever had. Get the banana fritter—you won’t be disappointed.
The best donut shop around!= )
Nice place to have breakfast and morning coffee. The lady at the counter was extremely friendly. And the best part is you can choose your own coffee from a wide variety.... Loved this place.
Great donuts, friendly staff, and a lively fun atmosphere. A favorite weekend breakfast stop!Donuts are great, but I recommend the hotcakes too!
This place has a cool design.
At 6am the lady behind the counter was cheerful and super friendly. I had eggs in 5 minutes and watching a whole series of regulars come in for food and a chat. The decor is simple and old but ignore that and come in!
Breakfast here was really good. One of the few places that was open. It's actually open 24/7. Short walk from Downtown areas.Super friendly people. Doughnuts too!
Open 24/7! I’ve always admired this shop for its fresh donuts and chill atmosphere. Huge windows for people watching. There’s always really cool looking locals here enjoying a cup. Lotto tickets and scratchers sold here. You can get hearty American breakfasts. They have about 7 different coffees to choose from, refills are $1 for small and $1.50 for large. Donuts were only $1 for the glazed. I paid $7.25 for a large coffee, medium soy latte and a donut - not bad.
Stopped in on a Monday I think. Staff treated us so kindly. The prices are good for what you get.
Nice environment and decent price.Ordered an Americano and it was dilute, ordered an omlette sandwich and the cheese was processed (like Kraft) and I think the bread was store-bought as well. Didn't taste like anything. The boston cream doughnut didn't have much taste either. A comfy place to sit at breakfast time though.
A good place for a coffee break
Great breakfast burrito!
Looking forward to returning with my coworkers. I see why this place has a lot of great reviews.
This place is awesome! Great donuts at a great price. Amazing pastries. Also had probably the best breakfast sandwich I ever had here... just a bacon, egg and cheese on a fluffy croissant. Sandwiches come with a side of crispy hash browns as well. Top Notch! Will be back often.
This is my favorite donut shop in San Francisco. I've eaten hundreds of glazed donuts from here. I've also taken a few dozen donuts to the office. Every one of those donuts was excellent and very satisfying. Day or night there is an international crowd of locals or construction workers grabbing a bite or playing lotto. The staff are very nice and accommodating. Even if you have to walk past another donut shop or two the trip to the edge of the FiDi, North Beach, and China Town is well worth the trip.
